Agriculture

On June 1, 2003, 2,835,800 hectares of agricultural land in Lithuania was farmed by     272,111 individual farms.  78.%% of these farms were family farms.  Average size of Lithuanian farms is 10.3 hectares and 77.7% of them% of farms are under 10 hectares in size..
